Hammer in the Road

I had never heard of it. In fact, I thought Aaron was pulling my leg when he asked me about it. He said that there is a place in the area that a hammer was paved into the road. I figured it was a local legend. So we headed out to the spot.

Sure enough:

This was on our way out to a dam. I'll post pictures of that tomorrow as the water was coming over the top and I took quite a few. But here is a sneak peak.
