I made pasties today. (Top picture the start of the dough, bottom the filling).
I also made a discovery.
Cookie sheets do not fit in my oven.
Seriously.
They make ovens that don't fit a cookie sheet?
Apparently.
So the pasties were cooked on tin foil. And turned out just as well as if it'd been on cookie sheets.

oh my gosh- funny! Bet you weren't too thrilled after all your work! :) My mini oven fits a small cookie sheet--- barely.
I believe one of the apts. we lived in didn't fit a cookie sheet. What good is an oven that isn't built to make cookies???? :D
Are you for real?? I have a mini oven, and it fits the large cookie sheets...geez...too bad for you!! And also what kind of meat do you use?
I bet the pasties were fantastic. Was that round steak? It's delicious that way.
And those mini ovens should be outlawed.
