Snowshoeing

Aaron and I went out behind his parents house the other day. It was the first time either one of us had ever been snowshoeing. I recommend it for those of you who have never gone.

There was a lot of powder on the top of the base, so we sludged through that. Took a few spills, but really enjoyed doing this!

So is that first shot taken from a digger position?

Love that you took the camera too. I haven't been snowshoeing in years...we used to go behind my grandma and grandpa's house.

the kids got snowshoes 3 years ago for Christmas and this is the first year that they were able to use them down here.

I was just telling Mark, a few weeks ago, that I'd like a pair of snowshoes! I've only been once before, with some of the girls in Cokato, when we were all single. It was fun though! Now, with the woods around us, I'd love to try out a pair.

The first shot is taken from a digger position, but that time I purposely sat down!
Taking my camera made it a little more interesting- as in everytime I fell I either didn't catch myself so I could keep my camera out of the snow, or handed it quickly to Aaron as I toppled over!
