Alternately titled, I figured it out... For other bloggers out there- In the create post mode there are two options at the top of the typing box. One is Edit Html, the other Compose. In the Compose mode you can see the picture, in the Html, you only see text.

I can't say that I miss UP winters!
Just wanted to say thanks for the advice about the pictures...I usually post straight from picasa, but realized that I just needed to click on "Rich Text" to get the picture to appear. Simple as that! :) Thanks for looking into that.
Oh, and I have mixed feelings about the snowbank. :) There are times that I do miss those things (believe it or not), but I'm fine without them too!
You can have the snowbanks!! I wouldn't mind a few inches of snow. What we have is slush.
